This electric brush cleaner takes the tedious part out of washing makeup brushes by hand. Attach a brush to the silicone collar sized to fit its handle, dip the bristles into a bowl with water and your usual brush cleanser, and the motor spins the brush to work out trapped pigment, oil, and product buildup from deep in the bristles. The centrifugal spin also helps flick off excess water afterward, so brushes dry faster and keep their shape better than when left to air dry after a rough hand wash. It comes with several collar sizes to fit everything from small eyeshadow brushes to larger foundation and powder brushes. Cleaning brushes regularly extends their lifespan and helps prevent the breakouts that can come from applying product with dirty bristles — this machine makes that habit far less of a chore.

Select the correct collar for your brush handle and attach it to the device. Fill a bowl with water and mild cleanser, submerge the brush, and turn on the motor for ten seconds. Lift above the water line to spin dry.
